Alex Clarke Mug and Tin Set

Lovely mug and tin set by Alex Clarke. Cute pony or dog design great for any animal lover. Tin is brilliant for keeping your mug clean and dust free when not in use such as at the yard or could be used to keep your cakes fresh!

Alex was born on 30th June 1974 at the village of Shotley Bridge in county Durham in the North East of England. She is the eldest of two sisters and lives with her partner in a house close to the river Derwent.Alex never went to art school, instead she studied biology at university in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, supplementing her grant money by painting in the evenings and then selling her work at craft fairs and local art exhibitions at weekends. Her business is located in an old sawmill by the banks of the Derwent in the village of Ebchester where she has lived for all her life. It’s a natural haven for all sort of wildlife with weasels, otters and just about every garden bird you can imagine likely to schedule an appearance at any moment. It is an environment that perfectly compliments the artwork that she publishes today.
