Delivery Information

Goods will be dispatched to you via Royal Mail.

Please allow 7 days for delivery, after you have placed your order. If you don't receive your goods in this time we will re-arrange delivery or you will receive a full refund.

The items that are marked as a special order will need to be ordered in by us as these items are not kept in stock. Please allow a few extra days for these items as they will need to be delivered to us before we can dispatch them to you.

Standard Delivery

Despatch is by Royal Mail or Courier and takes 2-5 working days. Please remember to take Bank Holidays into consideration. Cost is between £3.99 and £4.99 depending on the weight of your parcel and delivery location. If you request the parcel is left somewhere (for example in the porch) this is at your own risk and claims cannot be made for a lost parcel once it has been delivered.

Express Delivery

Please order before 2pm on the previous working day for delivery the next working day. (some postcodes may take up to 2 days, in which case we will advise you.) A signature is required for this service. Again if you request the parcel is left somewhere we cannot take responsiblily for the parcel going missing after delivery.

Saturday Delivery

Saturday delivery is available upon request, please telephone before 2pm on Friday to ensure we can get your order out on time. A signature is required for this service.

For Courier and Royal Mail we would normally require a signature. If however, you wish your parcel to be left without a signature, you can authorise us to do so by entering this request in the notes box at the checkout. If the parcel should go missing, once it has been delivered, Horse and Country Life cannot accept any responsibility for the loss, so please ensure you ask for the parcel to be left in a secure place.

Alternatively you can request that we leave your parcel with a neighbour if you are not at home, or state an alternative delivery address such as your work address, friend or relative.

Availability

We endeavour to stock all of the items shown on this website at all times. Where an item is out of stock, this will be indicated within the product description. Very occasionally we have an item listed on our website that we have no longer have for sale, in this case we will offer you a full refund or an exchange for another item off our website.

We also aim to turn orders around within 2 working days. If this is not to be, then you will receive confirmation from ourselves indicating a delivery time.

Complaints

We will personally deal with all complaints as soon as possible, acknowledging your complaint within 24 hours and keeping you informed of our progress during the complaints procedure.

Returns

We hope that you are happy with your purchase but we understand there are sometimes reasons why products need to be returned or exchanged.

Please contact us on 01642 485515 or email us at sales@horseandcountrylife.co.uk if there is a problem with your item and we will be happy to refund or exchange within 8 days of purchase.

The goods must be in the same condition as you received them, for example all original tags and labels must be intact and the item must be returned in its original packaging. Please ensure the items are not soiled or marked in any way so that we can resell the item.

When trying on rugs/saddlepads, saddles etc on your horse please ensure a clean sheet is put under the rug to stop hairs and marks transferring onto the item. We will not accept soiled items so please take care when trying things on.

Please contact us first when returning an item and we can advise you on the best way to send the item back to us. Return postage will only be paid if the item is faulty. If you have changed your mind about the item we will be happy to offer an exchange for another item from our website for the same price or we can refund your money. You will be responsible for the return postage.

If you find goods have been damaged in transit please contact us within 2 days of receiving the item to resolve the issue.
